Rally to Stop the Eviction of 28-30 Langley Ave Residents

Tenants fear the conversion of their affordable housing into Airbnb-type ghost hotel units

Join Ward 14 Councillor Paula Fletcher, local residents as well as members of Fairbnb Canada, ACORN and East End Legal at a rally to stop Langley Arms Inc. (a corporation headed by Jason Castiglione, William Gillies, Ian Leggett and Elias Markos) from evicting our long-time neighbours at the 28-30 Langley Ave rooming house.

Following last week’s news about an Airbnb-related renoviction case in Toronto’s west end, our community needs to ensure no more tenants will be evicted in the pursuit of Airbnb revenues.
